Art on Products - Cat Postage Stamps

If you love cats, you're apt to find some purr-fect postage stamps here for cat lovers. I love cats, and got my first one when I was two. I also love art, and here I have combined my two loves together.

Muffin is a black and white tuxedo cat. She reminds me of a queen.

Susie and Sugar, in abstract, loved giving each other kisses:

They also liked hanging out on the mini trampoline:

Susie was the inspiration for the kitten in the Christmas stocking. We adopted her the day after Christmas:

The smiling cats in a mandala kaleidoscope style, remind me of a fun coloring book page:

Wishing you a cat purr-fect day.

Art on Products - Swept Off Her Feet Bridal Shower Invitations

This black and white drawing was made with the bride in mind. I have heard it said before, about a bride being in love, that she was swept off her feet. Hence, the nostalgic representation is made with a bit of humor in mind with the bride to be holding a broom:

Sticking with the Swept Off Her Feet theme, envelope seals and postage stamps are ready as well:

To commemorate the fun occasion, the bride can be provided with a personalized canvas bag for a keepsake:

All the items can easily be personalized by filling in the template forms provided. Click on the product to see the form.

If you plan to play cards at the shower, here you'll find playing cards for your party.

Art on Products - Abstract and Trendy Blue Green Purple Yellow Messenger Bag

This was one of my most fun paintings. I got to re-use the bag that the apples came in, and I played with placing various colors of metallic paint in the painting dish. First I started with a yellow background. I wanted something light and bright to show through.

Once I saw the completed design, I knew it would look grand on a messenger bag. The blue, green, and purple on the yellow background, makes it a versatile choice.

The solid color in the front, and the trim binding, can be customized online. To choose a different color for these, click on the product link, then on Customize It, and then click on Choose Your Style and Colors.

Art on Products - Kaleidoscope Cats Mandala

I love cats and making cat designs. I was intrigued by some mandala type coloring books and liked the ones that seemed more fun. Voila, the idea was born. A cat mandala.

Once I completed it, I also thought that it looked very much like a kaleidoscope design.

I decided to make some products just for cats; a Cat Treats Candy Jar:

And a pet dish:

I also wanted to make something for cat facility owners and volunteers, to help with scheduling cat adoption events. Each can be customized right online, by you.

Here it is on a planner for organizing:

Art on Products - Colorful Garden Coordinating Placemat Setting

The colorful abstract garden was fun to create. It started with lines drawn in a spiraling pattern, then adding shapes within the spaces. Once I filled in the spaces, a decided upon a garden. So I separated the area in to three different sections. The top would be the sun and sky, the middle would be the flowers, the lower part would be ground and grasses. I also added a stream.

Some spaces, I decided, had too many things in them, so when I started painting, I just painted over the extra lines, and painted flowers and such on top. What was created was colorful, abstract, and fun.

Here is the colorful abstract garden printed on a placemat:

I picked some of the flower designs and painted a larger version of them in a pattern, on the same color background.

Here are purple brassica flowers printed on a teapot:

Here are purple aster flowers printed on a mug:

Here are yellow daisy flowers printed on a coaster:

Here are yellow jasmine flowers printed on a plate:

Here is a different type of purple aster printed on a pitcher:

As you can see, there are a lot of options for mixing. Pick one design for everything, or mix it up with two or more of the designs.

Art On Products - Pink Flying Pig Sprinkling Blue Stars

I had heard of the saying, when pigs fly, back in my younger day. I was surprised when I met my husband that there is a city that actually has statues of flying pigs. He's from Cincinnati. I can't say why I decided to paint a flying pig. It just occurred to me to paint one. And not just any flying pig. This one was a magic pig. Ht was going to be carrying a wand with a blue star on its tip. From it, the pig was going to generate more blue stars. How cool is that!

I didn't want to use anybody else's idea of a flying pig. So I went with the idea of what's round like that flies. A bumble bee of course. So I used images of flying bumble bees to get my general drawing and wings done. Then I browsed images of pigs to get the general placement of the snout, ear, toes, etc. Next he got a magic wand with a blue star.

Because it's magic when pigs fly...

I thought it would be cool to open an envelope and see a pig sprinkling blue stars in to the contents.

What do you think?
