Personalized Maze Birthday Cards for Kids

Here you will find maze puzzles on personalized birthday cards. Any child will enjoy the extra activity that they get to do when they receive their card. There is a text placeholder on the back of the greeting cards where you can type in your own personalized message.

There are various puzzle designs to choose from, on both postcards and greeting cards to send to the birthday child.

There are also various products, i.e. invitations, paper plates, paper cups, napkins, yard signs, and notepads, to enhance the birthday party.

The notepads provide an easy way for all of the children to do their own maze puzzle. The notepads are 5.5 inches by 6 inches, with 40 sheets per pad.

Here is an example of a greeting card; this one features a cute giraffe searching for the path to the leafy tree.

Here is a postcard of a monkey searching for the vine that leads to the bananas. The monkey looks so cute and adorable. It is swinging from a vine over to the maze that goes to the banana tree.

Maze puzzles are not only fun, they help to improve hand and eye coordination and fine motor skills. It's a great way to make learning fun. And they're also just great for the fun of it!

The very first dress that she picked out on her own had balloons on it. She would have loved a birthday party with this teddy bear design!

This design features my painting of a cute teddy bear that is swinging on a colorful balloon swing. The teddy bear is wearing a red heart for some extra love.

Clicking on the link will give you larger images and also take you to my CherylsArt store on Zazzle. The invitations are easy to customize online.

Zoo Themed Birthday Party Invitations

Congratulations on planning a zoo themed birthday party! When our daughter was little, it was extra nice going to the zoo with a group of kids. They seemed to have a lot more fun. A good tip is to have the kids wearing the same color tee shirts.

Here you will find birthday party invitations that you can customize online, and also ones that you can fill in by hand.

Be sure to check with the zoo to see how they handle birthday parties. Some will even have pavilions where everyone can meet, have cake, etc. Some may allow you to bring in your own snacks, some may want you to purchase your snacks there.

It's a good idea to send out your invitations approximately two weeks before the birthday party. If you are including a trip to the zoo, be sure to include an RSVP contact, so that you can plan on transportation, tickets, etc.

This first invitation features a tiger, with the text - Meet me at the zoo. There is plenty of space on the back to customize your details with your text.

This one shows a variety of animals, including giraffes, tigers, and elephants. It has lines on the back to either replace with text, or fill in by hand after you receive them.

Parrot Themed Birthday Party Supplies

parrot

You have found fun options for parrot themed birthday party invitations, activities, and gift ideas.

First off are the coloring invitations. The main design on the invitations is a colorful outline drawing of a parrot. You can choose from two sided invites and postcards. The text on each features an area to fill in the details by hand, or the text can be typed in online, in place of the lines - using the template forms.

Kids can be asked to color in their parrot invitation and bring it to the party. They will make fun keepsakes for the birthday person, and can also be used as a drawing contest for a prize! I.e. boldest colors, most original look, most abstract, etc. There can be enough categories so that every child can go home with a fun prize.

An activity idea to do early on is for some painting, coloring/painting time. The parrot outline is printed on tee t-shirts. The shirts can be colored in using acrylic fabric paint markers, or painted in using bottled fabric paint and brushes. The paint markers make less mess. If you use paint brushes, then you will also need bowls of water to rinse the brushes in between changing colors, and paper towels to dab them off.

Whichever method you use, be sure to have some flat sheets of cardboard on hand to place in between the fabric layers of the shirts to prevent bleed through of the paint. It's also best to do this activity at the beginning of the party so that the artistic creations will have some drying time.

For those with younger kids and or for those who just want less mess, these simple parrot coloring sheets are the answer. There are two parrots facing each other on each sheet. There is a blended yellow and green background to help the coloring project have a more finished look. There are 40 8-1/2x11 inch pages per pad. Be sure to allow for extra sheets in case of any mishaps. : )

You and or the kids, can create hanging birds from paper plates. This video features a dove, but you can add color to the bird and streamers to make it look like a parrot. The kids can also have fun coloring the wings. It can also be a pre-cake activity.

Kids love to make noise and they'll get to do that with this parrot themed game .The Repeat Game is a fun activity to play towards the end of the party, giving the kids some cohesive interaction time and also some extra drying time for any art projects.

Have the children sit in a row. The first child in the row will whisper a short sentence to the child sitting next to them. The next child then whispers what they heard to the child sitting next to them, and so on, all down the row. The last child will then say out loud what they heard whispered to them, to see if it is anything like what was whispered by the first child. Laughs will usually ensue. The children can then change order and repeat, if time permits. (The first child in each game can also select their sentence from a hat or plastic bowl.)

Check here for more parrot birthday supplies that can be customized.

May you have a wonderful birthday celebration.

Baseball Birthday Party Invitations and Ideas

baseball

One of my favorite things to do when I was a kid was playing baseball with the neighborhood kids. We'd all end up meeting in the field that was near our house and start playing a friendly game of baseball. It didn't matter that we didn't have enough players to make two complete teams. We played ball with whoever showed up. I would have loved having such an activity for a birthday party. I'm sure other kids would love it too. Any number of players will do; it's all for fun.

To get you started, I have designed simple baseball invitations on postcards that you can customize online. You can also delete any text that you want to write in by hand.

It's a good idea to send the invitations out two weeks before the party date.

Fresh veggies sticks will be a good idea to have as an appetizer before the game playing begins. It's quick and simple and adds some healthy snacks for game time energy.

For after the game, you can serve cupcakes or cookies; they are both easy for the kids to grab, and can be easily decorated to look like baseballs! Another great snack for after a game of baseball is watermelon.

If you want paper plates for the snacks, these can also fit your party theme. The paper plates come in a choice of two sizes, 7" and 9", and a choice of square or round. The background color on any of these items can be customized with a color of your selection. I chose blue to represent the sky, and green on some items to represent grass.

You can find more matching baseball themed birthday supplies here, including napkins, ribbon, and wrapping paper:

Happy birthday game day!

This invitation includes a baseball, the glove, and a bat in its design.

Kids Color Birthday Party Ideas

birthday party

Kids love to color and paint. They also like something that they can take home with them as a keepsake.

If you are having a birthday party for younger children, then coloring or painting on paper is fine. Watercolor pencils and some various shaped brushes is a fun way for the kids to paint with watercolors.

If you are planning a coloring or painting party for older kids, then you may consider a craft type project. There are various painting kits that you can get that vary according to age range.

An option is pre-printed designs on wrapped canvas or faux canvas. This stegosaurus is printed on faux canvas. The acrylic paint dries faster on the faux canvas, making them easier to transport when it's time to take them home.

Rock painting kits are a fun choice for both boys and girls. The ideas that the kids can come up with are endless, from shapes to animals, cars, etc. You can even invite the kids to bring a rock with them and have them do their own thing. (Do have some extra ones on hand though, just in case.)

Acrylic paints are a good choice for painting rocks if you need extra or are planning to get your own rocks. Aprons or old t-shirts to cover up the kids clothing will help reduce any painting mishaps.

Outline designs are a fun way for older kids to paint their clothing. Pre-printed outline designs are an easy way to get the kids started. They love to add their own colors and designs to the pre-printed outline. Here is an example of a toucan, just waiting to be colored in.

Check here for more outline drawing designs printed on tee shirts.

Aprons, and canvas bags, also make a fun painting/coloring choice.

Some kids prefer painting with brushes, and this is great for older kids that have more dexterity. Younger kids will probably have better success with acrylic paint markers. There is usually less mess with paint markers. If you are buying your own, make sure that the markers are rated for painting on fabric. Water based markers will probably wash out, and at the very least, will bleed across the fabric.

Important: Whichever method you choose, be sure to place a flat sheet of cardboard between the fabric layers to avoid paint bleed through to the back of the shirt, bag, etc.

When I used to host birthday parties at a local craft store, the kids always loved the painting parties. Even if they started with the same basic kit or design; each child added their own creativity to the designs. Everyone was always engrossed in their own painting. Paper plates were provided as palettes. The acrylic paint was easily squirted onto the plates to give each child their own color choices.

A major tip: For any type of painting activity, have the kids do their painting at the beginning of the party, so that the paint can be drying while the kids are playing games, eating snacks, birthday cake, etc.

If some kids get there early or are still painting while others are done, have them sing some songs. They find it quite entertaining and it helps to keep everyone occupied and in the same area.

Pizza Party Ideas and Supplies

Here are some fun pizza invitations and ideas to help you out with your pizza party.

These pizza themed postcard invitations can be filled in by hand on the pre-printed form, or you can customize the text online before placing your order. They feature my painting of a whole pizza. The cover text can be customized to the type of party that you are having.

The pizza can be served up on fun paper plates:

Kids can color in their own pizza on canvas tote bags. The coloring design is also on canvas bags for coloring fun. I recommend fabric paint markers. There is less mess than with tubes, bottles, and brushes. If you do the coloring activity, be sure to place a flat sheet of cardboard in between the fabric layers. It is also best for the painting to be done during the early part of the party so that the paint can be drying while the kids are enjoying other activities.

There's also a special apron for the chef and or pizza server:

Enjoy.
