Baseball Birthday Party Invitations and Ideas
One of my favorite things to do when I was a kid was playing baseball with the neighborhood kids. We'd all end up meeting in the field that was near our house and start playing a friendly game of baseball. It didn't matter that we didn't have enough players to make two complete teams. We played ball with whoever showed up. I would have loved having such an activity for a birthday party. I'm sure other kids would love it too. Any number of players will do; it's all for fun.
To get you started, I have designed simple baseball invitations on postcards that you can customize online. You can also delete any text that you want to write in by hand.
It's a good idea to send the invitations out two weeks before the party date.
Fresh veggies sticks will be a good idea to have as an appetizer before the game playing begins. It's quick and simple and adds some healthy snacks for game time energy.
For after the game, you can serve cupcakes or cookies; they are both easy for the kids to grab, and can be easily decorated to look like baseballs! Another great snack for after a game of baseball is watermelon.
If you want paper plates for the snacks, these can also fit your party theme. The paper plates come in a choice of two sizes, 7" and 9", and a choice of square or round. The background color on any of these items can be customized with a color of your selection. I chose blue to represent the sky, and green on some items to represent grass.
You can find more matching baseball themed birthday supplies here, including napkins, ribbon, and wrapping paper:
Happy birthday game day!
This invitation includes a baseball, the glove, and a bat in its design.

Vegetarian Vegan Invitations for Thanksgiving
I wanted to make some vegetarianand or vegan friendly invites to help fill the need for Thanksgiving invitations for this growing group.
This first one is an autumn leaves design. The word Autumn is made from my painting of colorful autumn leaves; the letters are then outlined in orange. There are leaf accents on both the front and the back. The word vegetarian can easily be changed to include vegan or to change it to vegan. This is a fine choice for a gathering that is a little more elegant.
This one conveys the feeling of fun - seeing a strutting happy turkey!
Both are easily customized on the provided template forms. Just click on your favorite design to get started.
May you have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving.

Smile at Yourself in Front of Mirror
What we think of ourselves is important. Much has been written about self talk and about being kinder to ourselves, and the positive affect that it has.
What used to be seen as being selfish, is now being seen as laying a good foundation to becoming better capable of liking and accepting yourself and others.
One way to help overcome the less kind thoughts is to smile at yourself in front of a mirror. It can simply be a smile, and or it can be included with giving yourself compliments while you're smiling at yourself.
If you haven't already, and a mirror is handy, give it a try. You can start with a smile and then look in the mirror while continuing to smile. Did you notice a difference in how you felt? Even for just a second or two?
It's worth it to do it more often than not. Do it throughout the day. Repeat it the next day. If you skip a day, no problem; just do the next day, and so on.
Here are some handy reminders, printed on business cards. You can place them around your apartment, house, wherever, and also to share with others.
Sometimes one may want to get away from so much thinking. Who wants to argue with all those old thoughts that come up when you give yourself that first positive thought about yourself. That compliment or affirmation may be a meager thought in this transition of change; you may have to learn to make a declaration instead, and declare the new thought as so.
I have found though that with practice, it gets easier over time.
Review: Smile at yourself while looking in the mirror. No thoughts need to be included, although you can. Just walk to a mirror or pull one out of your purse, etc., and give yourself a smile. You're worthy of it and you are so worth it.
You can give yourself a long continuous smile for as long as you want, or quick little ones in succession. You can look away, sneak a peak and smile, and look away again, then sneak another smiling peak. Go ahead, make it fun, make it a game if you like.
If you would like more positive reminders that it's okay to smile at yourself, check out the products below. You'll find this smile at yourself design on stickers, magnets, mugs, business cards, and more. The designs aren't actual mirrors, you will still need to supply the mirror. These are just fun reminders for your new activity.
As you start to smile more, you may find yourself smiling at others more too, like in the line at the store, passing a person going in the other direction on the street. Don't worry if not everyone smiles back, this behavior may be new to them too. Just know that you gave them a smile, and that's a blessing in and of itself. And when they do smile back, well that's a double blessing.

Halloween Bags Personalized by Kids
Here you will find a selection of Halloween tote bags that the kids can color and or paint in. There are various outline drawings that feature a Halloween design. They can be used as they are or they can be personalized by kids.
The outline drawings are already printed on the bags which the kids can personalize with their coloring, painting, and or adding their own artwork. A simple way to color, paint them in is with fabric paint markers, or paint them in using brushes and fabric paint.
The kids can also glue on ribbons, beads, googly eyes, etc., whatever would make it more fun and personal for your child.
This first one is one of my favorites; it's a cute little kitten that had gotten into a pumpkin and is now peeping out of the pumpkin top. You can see its tail when you look at the pumpkin's nose. You can see the kitten's back feet if you look at the pumpkin's eyes.
Here's another one for cat lovers. This Halloween pumpkin sports a cute and happy cat face. Pumpkin vine leaves surround the face.
I love cats and can't resist sharing this cute version of cat love on Trick or Treat Bags. It features an outline drawing of four cat faces in a circular pattern, connected by four hearts in the center. Kids can have fun making the cats different colors, and the hearts too!
This pumpkin needs a face. Kids can add their own flare by creating their own unique face design on this Halloween pumpkin. What kind of face do you think that they'll create?
Yes, there are more options than cats. This cute bag features two different types of dinosaurs, with color in text. It includes a Tyrannosaurus and a Steggosaurus.
Thank you for your selection(s). By doing fun and creative activities with your kids, you'll be creating fun and special memories. Plus, the kids will have a sturdy bag in which to collect their Halloween goodies. Happy Halloween!

Are you looking for fun ways to share Halloween photos? Here are at least four ways to get you started.
With this wizard hat design, you can add a photo under the hat for some creative Halloween fun. All you need to do is replace my head image with a photo of your own. If it doesn't line up with your first try, just click on customize; then you can move the photo around and also adjust its size.
Here is the greeting card, which can also be purchased and downloaded or sent to you.
You can also choose from Trick or Treat bags made of canvas. This is a fun idea for personalized trick or treat bags for the kids; and they're also sturdy. The tote bag showing is the grocery tote. It is sturdier than the budget tote. There are five different tote bag styles to choose from, and some also come in a choice of color.
These fun stickers can be added to gifts, cards, etc. Unused stickers can also be included in the card! There is a choice of sticker shapes to choose from; however, this design is currently configured for the square shape sticker. You will need to do some customizing if you choose a different sticker shape.
Extra enjoyment can be had working this fun puzzle with a family member's and or friend's photo. The puzzles come in a variety of sizes. The 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" come in a choice of regular sized pieces or oversized pieces. Each puzzle comes in a cardboard carry case, with the picture printed on the lid.
Check out these choices and more on the following link. It will take you to my CherylsArt store on Zazzle and show you all of the current available wizard hat products:

Cute Pug Dog Painting Greeting Cards
I met my neighbor on one of my many walks through our neighborhood. Over time we exchanged greetings and then started chatting. I had my camera with me on one of my walks and asked her if I could take a picture of her dog, so that I could paint her. I also asked if she minded if I made money from it. She was fine with that.
I finished the painting and showed it to her; she really liked it and wanted it on some cards. We are splitting the cost so that it is a win win for both of us.
So here is the cute pug, pictured on summer themed greeting cards.
She didn't want any text so that they could be more versatile; however they can be customized with text if you like.
This little dog is so cute, and she looked so happy when I took her picture. She likes going for walks and she also likes the attention.
Here she is to give Grads some attention!
My neighbor really loved seeing the Santa version.
Here is another version for anytime of the year.
May this happy pug dog bring a smile to your face as well.
